Our Story
When we started Meter Audit, the submetering inspection process was almost entirely paper-based. Inspectors carried clipboards, hand-wrote serial numbers, and filed reports manually. Errors were common, turnaround was slow, and there was no easy way to track or verify inspection records.
We saw an opportunity to change that. By building our own digital inspection platform — complete with barcode scanning, real-time validation, and automated reporting — we eliminated the inefficiencies that plagued the industry. The result: faster inspections, fewer errors, and documentation you can actually trust.
Today, Meter Audit serves submetering companies, property owners, and developers across all Canadian provinces. We're proud to be a Measurement Canada Authorized Service Provider, and we continue to invest in technology that makes meter verification better for everyone.
Our Accreditation
Meter Audit Inc. is an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) accredited by Measurement Canada — the federal authority responsible for ensuring accuracy in trade measurement across Canada. Our accreditation authorizes us to perform SE-04 meter installation verification inspections with full regulatory standing.
